What is the Faithful Stewards Campaign?

The Faithful Stewards Campaign is a two-year initiative here at Central Christian Church to raise $2.85 million for essential upgrades and renovations to our facilities. The campaign focuses on responsible stewardship, aiming to tend to existing structures rather than building anew. Key projects include upgrading air handlers and sound systems, investing in production technology, renovating spaces to accommodate growing ministries, and conducting essential roof repairs. Through sacrificial giving and prayerful consideration, this campaign seeks to ensure that CCC, JNA and CCA are equipped to serve our community and fulfill God’s mission for years to come.

Vision

Empowered by God’s grace, Central Christian Church envisions a future where our ministry continues to thrive, impacting lives locally and beyond. Through faithful stewardship and unwavering commitment, we aim to preserve our legacy and equip God’s people for the journey ahead.

Mission

Central Christian Church (CCC), Joyful Noise Academy (JNA) and Central Christian Academy and Preschool (CCA/CCAP) are dedicated to serving others as faithful stewards of God’s grace. With a focus on responsible stewardship, we endeavor to renovate and upgrade our facilities, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our ministries and community. Through sacrificial giving and prayerful consideration, we invite all to join us in advancing the kingdom’s work for generations to come.

FAQ

How long will the campaign run, and what is the fundraising goal, what happens if the fundraising goal is not met within the specified timeframe?

Our goal is to complete our fundraising of $2.85m in 2 years, but if it is not met we shall continue to fundraise until completion, as the renovations and work being done is essential.

Why is it necessary to conduct renovations and upgrades at this time?

As Faithful Stewards of our finances as a church, we plan short and long term in regards to any necessary building requirements and find the best time to fulfill those requirements in a fiscally responsible way. With the building additions and renovations being made to allow for expansion of CCA through the Immeasurably More campaign, it made sense to financially partner on some projects.   Since the building will be under renovation, it makes sense to complete some long standing upgrades to 20+ year old equipment and facilities that are no longer reliable.

How will the funds be allocated once they are raised?

They will be allocated according to the plan of construction/renovation and in tandem with the school/church calendar.  Order of projects will be determined by need, currently B and C wing roofs are first on the list.

Are there any alternative ways to contribute to the campaign besides monetary donations?

Yes, the giving of bonds, stocks or assets are options. Please contact the church finance department for more information.

How does the Faithful Stewards campaign align with the overall mission and vision of Central Christian Church and Central Christian Academy?

We are trusted with what we have been given by God, and to be faithful to Him is to be stewards of what we have been given. This campaign allows us to fulfill this in this season, by replacing old and problematic equipment, updating facilities to allow for further growth and discipleship making.

Doesn’t the yearly budget cover building maintenance and replacement costs?

Each year the church budget must end in the black. While our team does an outstanding job trying to plan for future challenges, uncertainties in income, unforeseen needs, or unexpected failures can make it difficult to set aside what is needed for large expenses such as this.   In addition, equipment throughout the facility that was replaced and upgraded during the construction of the worship center in the year 2000 is now aging out at the same time.
