Each weekend thru Christmas
As we enter into this season of Advent which simply put, means “coming,” we focus on the traditional celebration of the first coming of our Lord, as well as the reminder He is coming again. Living in this day and age having to deal with the pressures in balancing family, friends, work, and just the day-to-day tasks that need to be taken care of, keeping our eyes fixed upon Christ at any time of the year is challenging, let alone this season with all of its added demands on our time.
Beginning with the first weekend in December, we will turn our focus on five aspects of the advent (or coming) of Christ: hope, peace, joy, and love, and ending Christmas Day with Jesus Himself. To enhance your experience of advent, our pastors have put together a guide. The booklet offers devotionals, scriptural references, thoughts for our reflection and response, as well as activities to engage children.
