We live in a world of vast confusion about what is right, true, how to address the issues that we face as people, communities, a nation, even as a Church. If we truly believe that God is the creator and sustainer and that Jesus is His son and the way, the truth, and the life then we should be a place and a people that have answers and clarity.
Sadly, in many ways, the Church finds itself amidst the confusion instead of standing upon the rock of truth. Even when we do know the truth we can struggle to know how to engage the dialogue or articulate it to those around us. In the coming weeks we will be seeking to engage this challenge in our church and the world as we seek to dive head first into some of the most challenging issues of our day. From marriage to freedom and everything in-between. Not only to engage topics but seeking the ability to discern the lies of the enemy and world, to stand upon the truth of God knowing how to think Biblically about every issue of the day, and walk the “way” that Jesus calls us to walk.
Join us as we seek to be “counter cultural” disciples who discern, stand, and walk in this age of progression not being conformed but transformed by the renewing of our minds.
Romans 12:2 “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”
